Reports from Namibians, South Africans, and Nigerians are that people of African and Indian descent are being treated poorly at the Polish border. News24 quotes Ukraine Crisis Evacuation Committee member Lorraine Blauw as saying the problem at the moment was at the border, explaining that “these soldiers have taken it upon themselves to let the Ukrainian woman and children go first and to leave [other] people stuck with no shelter, food or water”.
