Belgium-based lawyer Anicet Baum is asking the court to order the winding up of Air Namibia as a result of money that the national airline owes the company Challengair SA, which has been declared bankrupt. Baum charged that Air Namibia has admitted it is unable to pay its debt to Challengair SA, and says as a result of that situation the airline is commercially insolvent. The company’s public relations officer, Twaku Kayofa however told Future Media News that most debt has already been paid off.
