Speaking at a conference in Rome, conservative member of the US Supreme Court, Justice Samuel Alito brushed off criticism from several prominent figures of the courts controversial ruling last month overturning abortion rights in America, including outgoing UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who Mr Alito claims “paid the price” for his opposition to the verdict.
