Hundreds of Angolan nationals are flocking to Namibia in search of humanitarian help, following the severe drought being experienced in the southern part of that country. Angolans the Namibia press agency spoke to claim that they are leaving their country because there is a crisis of unemployment among the youth, severe poverty, and starvation due to the absence of rain resulting in an ongoing drought situation. Speaking to Future Media news, Ohangwena Governor, Walde Ndevashiya said that southern Angola has a lack of schools and hospitals which is a contributing factor to the high influx of Angolan nationals.
