The Black Lawyers Association has lashed out at critics of the commission of inquiry into state capture chaired by South African Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, saying this criticism was a repeated trend and that the “unfounded and malicious” criticisms served to undermine the work of the commission. “The BLA call all law-abiding citizens to support the work of the commission as it seeks to investigate corruption both in the public and private sectors, and call on all those who have information to contact the commission and give their respective version of events,”the BLA’s president Mashudu Kutama said.
