Residents in the Brakwater area, on the outskirts of Windhoek, will be without water over the coming weekend, from Friday at 6 pm to 6 pm Sunday. The City of Windhoek says the 48-hour water cut is due to planned maintenance on the Von Bach-Windhoek supply line. The disruption, according to the Namibian newspaper, will not affect Windhoek and Elisenheim residents, as they will get water through the municipality reclamation and borehole supply scheme.
