Canadian firm Namibia Critical Metals Inc., through its 100% owned subsidiary, Namibia Rare Earths, has been awarded a 25-year mining license for the Lofdal Heavy Rare Earth Dysprosium-Terbium Project. A press release issued by the company explains that Lofdal is one of only two primary xenotime projects under development in the world with the potential for significant production of the two most valuable heavy rare earths used in high powered magnets.
