Thirty-seven South African CEOs say they are more likely to cut staff in the next 12 months, despite being optimistic about the prospect of revenue growth in their companies. This is according to the 24th Annual Global CEO Survey, which polled over five-thousand CEOs across 100 countries. When asked about their outlook on the global economy, 76-percent of CEOs polled say they believe it will improve during the next 12 months. The CEOs also expressed increasing concern though about cyber threats, misinformation, and tax policy uncertainty.
