hen US groom Sam Greenberg contracted Covid-19, his bride, Amanda attended the wedding reception with a cardboard cutout of him. Business Insider reports that, having gotten married in a small ceremony on January 31st, the reception was scheduled for April 30 but three days before that Sam tested positive. The couple told those who wanted to come to the party that Amanda had been exposed but was not showing any symptoms and ordered a cardboard cut out of a photo taken at the wedding to accompany her. “I just wanted him there and thought it would be funny to dance around with a cardboard cutout,” Amanda said.
