The Electoral Commission of Namibia said the commission discovered that about 127 voters at Aroab and 227 at Koës voted using the wrong ballot papers. The ECN has not declared the official results for the involved areas. The commission now wants the court to grant them the permission to correct the anomalies because the Electoral Act does not allow local authority results to be changed by “either myself or the chairperson”. Future Media News contacted Electoral Commission of Namibia Communications and Marketing Manager, Lina Ndengu for the latest.
