With the Erongo region having seen an increase of learner enrollment of 51 942 in 2022 from 49 537 in 2021,the education directorate in the region will construct two project schools to deal with the increase in school-going children and the shortage of schools. The Namibia News Agency reports that the schools one a primary school and the other a secondary school, will be constructed in Walvis Bay and Swakopmund respectively at a cost of N$5.6 million each.
