Your current and potential Facebook friends may soon know a little less about you as from December 1st the company will remove a handful of personal bio details that users can share on their profiles. Business Insider reports that this includes: “Interested in,” which indicates a user’s sexual orientation, “Religious views,” “Political views,” and “Address”. The announcement comes almost exactly a year after It announced that it would no longer allow targeted advertising based on “topics people may perceive as sensitive, such as options referencing causes, organizations, or public figures that relate to health, race or ethnicity, political affiliation, religion, or sexual orientation.
