According to FSN, an Ethiopian court has sentenced five men who were found guilty of attempting to kill the country’s prime minister during a public rally in 2018. Additionally, the BBC reports that Ethiopian prosecutors have charged the five suspects with terrorism over an attempt to kill Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in a grenade attack at a rally in June. The attack in the capital, Addis Ababa, killed two people and injured more than 100, but Abiy was unharmed. The accused have made no comment.
