South Africa’s National Prosecuting Authority has welcomed the arrest and possible extradition of former Eskom contractor and United Kingdom citizen, Michael Harry Lomas. newsflash reports that Lomas is linked to corruption amounting to over 745-million-rand which the power utility paid to his company, Tubular Construction Projects. The NPA says in line with UK extradition court processes, he needs to appear in the British courts, where a decision will be made whether to extradite him to South Africa. The Westminister Magistrates Court has granted him 1.7-million-rand bail.
