The Ministry of Tourism and UNESCO with support from GIZ hosted a one-day conference for the sector’s collaborators and partners in the Oshikoto region aimed at creating awareness of the importance of sustainable and heritage tourism. The government says as tourism continues to grow, it may have adverse effects on the environment. Romeo Muyunda, the Ministry’s spokesperson shares some of the outcomes.
