Husab Mine employees camped outside the mine since yesterday morning to hand a petition over to the mine’s chief executive officer, Qui Bin. The miners are pro- testing Bin’s handling of legal issues, the procedural agreement between the company and the union, and the union as an employee representative. Additionally, the employees are also demanding answers around year-end production bonuses which were allegedly only given to the mine’s management staff, excluding the majority of the workforce.
