Thirty-seven-year-old Zimbabwean journalist Jeffrey Moyo, who spent three weeks in jail last year accused of obtaining fake accreditation documents for two US newspaper journalists on a visit, is set to appear in court on Wednesday. Al Jazeera reports that while officials were not immediately available to comment on the trial, last year a spokesperson accused Moyo of paying a bribe to break immigration laws. Moyo’s lawyer, Douglas Coltart, told Reuters though that the state had a “very weak case” against his client.
