Some parts of Johannesburg will be without water for the next two days to assist in the search for six-year-old Khayalethu Magadla, who fell down a manhole on 12 June while playing with his friends in Soweto. Johannesburg Water’s spokesperson said a thorough search had been conducted at the localised manhole entry point, but the search did not yield any results, urging the community to be understanding and supportive. She also said the manhole had been secured, and it no longer poses a danger to children and the community at large.
