Having recently returned from Washington DC, where she had engagements on Biden administration priority areas, US Ambassador to Namibia, Lisa Johnson, met President Hage Geingob on Wednesday to discuss areas of cooperation between her country and Namibia. The Namibia press agency reports that the ambassador highlighted trade relations between the two countries with the recent shipment of Namibian produced charcoal to the US. In the past years we have shipped Namibian beef, Windhoek Lager beer, and now charcoal, so Americans can have a proper braai,” Johnson said.
