The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism has warned people living in the town of Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region, to be alert when moving at night due to the presence of elephants in the town. The ministry’s public relations officer, Romeo Muyunda, told the Namibia press agency that the elephants are believed to have migrated from Zambia as they normally do on an annual basis and it is a group of 30 elephants but the ministry is continuously monitoring the situation.
