The Anti-Corruption Commission which has for years complained about its precarious financial position, will fight tooth and nail to bring those involved in high profile cases to justice, including the Fishrot scandal. National Assembly Speaker Peter Katjavivi when he tabled the ACC’s budget for the N$ 73.9 million for the 2021/22 financial year on Tuesday, said the Fishrot corruption case is not the only high-profile case the ACC is seized with. The Namibia Press Agency quotes him as saying “There are 20 other ongoing high profile cases that have been prioritised for the 2021/22 financial year and for which specialised skills will be sought”.
