Minister of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment Creation, Utoni Nujoma on Monday launched the national occupational safety and health policy and programme in efforts to protect the safety and wellbeing of workers to enhance productivity. Nampa reports that during the launch that took place in Windhoek, Nujoma said the overall objective of the policy is to strengthen the national occupational safety and health system and programmes in order to significantly reduce and prevent work-related accidents and diseases at workplaces.
