The Namibian Nurses Union in the Oshana region has expressed concern and disappointment at the lack of injectable anti-psychotic medication at the Oshakati Intermediate hospital Psychiatry department for almost two months now. This as it is reported that nurses are being attacked on a daily basis by very aggressive patients who cannot be sedated and stabilized immediately, because of the lack of the drugs. Future Media News contacted Ruben Uunona the regional coordinator of the Namibian Nurses Union in the Oshana region, who said they are giving the Ministry of Health and Social Services until today to resolve the matter.
