Grade 11 learners are currently writing exams after exam papers were leaked last year. According to local media, just the local domestic transport of the exam papers for the ten subjects to be reprinted in Britain cost the Ministry of Education Arts and Culture 8 million Namibian dollars. The printing of the papers cost a further 2.5 million Namibian dollars and transporting the papers from Britain to Namibia cost 3.6 million dollars. The executive director of the ministry, Sanet Steenkamp, ​​says they have never faced such a challenge and shame in the Ministry. A teacher and some students have already been charged in this regard.
