The Landless People’s Movement has joined other opposition political parties in rejecting the re-appointment of Paulus Noa as Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission for the next five years. Like other opposition parties, the LPM argues that the process was bulldozed, saying that the bid by President Hage Geingob and the Swapo Party to push a motion through Parliament for Noa’s reappointment sends out a clear message that Namibia “has no intent to put qualified investigators with integrity that will uphold the dignity and protect its people and resources”.
