Julius Malema, who recently criticized Namibia’s Swapo government, was one of the loudest voices calling for the establishment of the State Capture Commission of Inquiry in South Africa. Now, News24 reports, three years on, the EFF leader has disassociated himself from the commission, its chairperson, and its findings. Malema also previously expressed shock in that no one from his party had been invited to testify at the commission, insisting that EFF MPs could have shared their experiences in attempting to hold the executive accountable through parliamentary processes, especially seeing as it was his party that instituted the legal process that eventually led to the commissioning of the inquiry.
