About the speaker:

Craig is a bestselling South African author, award winning social entrepreneur, inspirational speaker and Dad Coach.

He is passionate about the crucial role men and fathers play in the lives of their children and society. He founded and runs the Non-Profit Organisation, Father A Nation, whose mission is to restore and equip men to be great fathers, mentors and role models. For his work with men in communities Craig received the GQ South African Humanitarian Man of the year award in 2019. As a keynote speaker and facilitator Craig covers a variety of topics in the areas of parenting, masculinity, gender-based violence, gender equity, leadership and excellence. Craig believes strongly that no boy is born an abuser and that the solution to toxic masculinity is healthy masculinity. To teach, promote and inspire positive, healthy masculinity he wrote a booklet called “The 6 Pack of Champion Virtues”. Both of these works have been used extensively in training and inspiring men to be excellent men, fathers, mentors and role models.

Local Life coach and speaker Patrick De Goede will talk on resilience and mental wellness on Saturday.

Topics to be covered:

Friday 10th March 2pm – 4.30 pm ( refreshments included)

 We live in a world in which the definition and role of masculinity has become confused and often distorted. Boys and young men are increasingly feeling negative and uncertain about masculinity and manhood and are crying out for an understanding of what it means to be a man.

 How do young men feel about themselves today? What do the words “Be a man” mean to our young men today? How have the words “toxic masculinity” impacted the way young men think about themselves? If Boys don’t learn, men won’t know!

What being a man in today’s world is really about?

 Craig will guide and talk you through these issues.

Saturday 11th March 8am – 1pm (breakfast included)

 Craig and local speaker and life coach, Patrick de Goede, will cover, amongst others, the following topics;

 How to become the Man you were destined to be.

Positive Masculinity. Being a man in today’s world.

Mental wellness.  Resilience.

How to be a man of value.

Being a good father.
