The Ministry of Health and Social Services has announced an outbreak of measles at Outapi, in the theOmusati Region. Health executive director Ben Nangobe says the cases were reported on 1 June 2022. The Nbc reports that the outbreak was first detected when health ministry officials investigated 23 suspected measles cases as part of surveillance activities with the majority of the cases, of which 14, reportedly from a school in Olukekete village, eight from Tsandi, and one reported in Okahao.
