The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology on Monday unveiled the official logo and theme for the next five years of the Heroes’ Day commemoration. The theme for the next five years is ‘Honouring Our Martyrs’. It honours and pays tribute to all who gave their all for the country’s liberty and independence. The Namibia Press Agency reports that MICT Executive Director, Audrin Mathe, said that preparations for this year’s Heroes Day commemoration are well underway, with various sub-committees on the ground in Mariental, where the event will take place on 26 August 2022 at the Mariental Show Grounds.
