Minister of Education, Arts and Culture, Anna Nghipondoka says she is impressed with the outcomes of the countrywide National Consultations on the future of education in Namibia. The Minister said that “communities demonstrated a deep and clear sense of ownership and they know what they want in terms of how the education landscape should look” but certain key contextual issues, like the urgent need for information technology integration and the expansion of access as well as the teaching of arts as a subject, that need more exploration and emphasis.
