The Ministry of Health and Social Services on Tuesday received 20 oxygen concentrators valued at approximately N$ 177 000 from the World Health Organisation to enhance Namibia’s response towards the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking during the handover Minister of Health and Social Services Dr Kalumbi Shangula said the items come at an opportune time to support the country’s healthcare facilities to provide quality services to patients. Shangula added that the donation demonstrates the strong bonds of cooperation between the health agency and the ministry.
