Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula has revealed that more Namibians are coming forward to get vaccinated. Shangula said this at the 27th Covid-19 Public Briefing on the pandemic’s response measures on Thursday. But, the health minister warned that the country is still far from sustainably flattening the COVID-19 epidemiological curve as the number of new infections in the country remains high. Most public health measures remain in place until 31 May 2021 including national curfew times from 22h00 to 04h00, public gatherings including funerals at 100 persons, both for indoor and outdoor gathering as well as the correct and mandatory wearing of masks.
