The National Assembly says in 2021, the Namibian Parliament, with the assistance of the World Bank embarked on a transformational e-Parliament initiative, a step critical in developing an e-Parliament concept that incorporates modern and dependable digital technologies in order to achieve a democratic and citizen-centered Parliament. As a result, parliament launched its e-parliament Strategy for the period 2022-2027 in December 2022. The Institute for Public Policy Research Director Graham Hopwood weighs in.
