MTC this week announced a 2.66 per cent increase in revenue and 7.9 per cent growth in prepaid customer revenue. The Namibia press agency quotes the company’s CEO, Licky Erastus, as saying though that postpaid revenue decreased as the number of financially distressed customers increased and Mobile Homes closed during lockdown. The company, during the 2019/20 financial year, paid a dividend of N$ 997 million to the state and supported the disbursement of N$ 1 million in COVID-19-related interventions.
