The remains of KwaZulu-Natal-born Lindani Myeni have departed Honolulu International Airport, Hawaii, early this morning. According to the SABC, Myeni’s remains will fly via stops in Dallas, Texas, London Heathrow tomorrow, and onto Johannesburg for a morning arrival on Friday. The 29-year-old was shot and killed by police in Hawaii. The Honolulu Police Department says they were forced to use lethal force when Myeni allegedly attacked them, injuring three of their officers. His wife Linsay, departed for South Africa on Monday.
