Minister of Finance, Iipumbu Shiimi and Ambassador Herbert Beck of the Federal Republic of Germany on Friday signed a financial cooperation agreement on interest-reduced loans between the two countries. The N$ 2.7 billion agreement will be divided between a NamPost Funding Facility in support of Micro and Small Enterprises and low-income households in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic which will receive up to N$ 334 million, as well as a water sector support program to the value of N$ 1.25 billion and a renewable energy program worth N$ 1.1 billion.
