The Namibia Public Passenger Transport Association held a peaceful demonstration against seven-seater vehicles that they say are operating without necessary transport permits. They marched to the offices of the Ministry of Works and Transport to meet officials from the ministry to hand over the petition and also handed over the petition to the Inspector General of the Namibian Police office. They are threatening to take unspecified action if their demands are not met. In Light of this Future Media News contacted the Namibia Public Passenger Transport Association secretary-general Nathan Africa who said they want to meet other top Government officials as well.
