The Namibian Presidency has announced that the country accepted the leadership role for the Southern African Development Community Organ on Politics, Defence, and Security. In a social media post, the presidency said that Geingob is expected to participate in the 42nd Ordinary SADC Summit, which takes place today under the theme ‘Promoting industrialization through, agro-processing, mineral beneficiation, and regional value chains for inclusive and resilient economic growth’. The President is expected to return to Namibia later today.
