President Hage Geingob, in his address to the nation last night announced new Covid-19 regulations that have come into effect from Wednesday 16 June and will last for a period of 14 days. The restrictions include limitations on travel outside of the Windhoek/Okahandja/Rehoboth area and the closure of schools among other things.

President Geingob further urged all Namibians to not believe rumours and conspiracy theories on the internet about Covid-19 vaccines.
