The Namibian Police Force has appointed new commanders for the Oshana, Oshikoto, and Kavango West regions, replacing three commanders who are set to retire. NamPol said its police commander for Oshana, Commissioner Rauha Amwele who will retire at the end of July, is being replaced by Naftal Lungameni Sakaria. The Namibia Press Agency reports that another newly promoted police chief, designated for the Oshikoto Region, is Theopoline Kalompo-Nashikaku who will take over from Armas Shivute. In the Kavango West Region, Commissioner Julia Iuze Sakuwa-Neo took over from retired commissioner, Josefat Abel.
