Nampol’s Khomas Regional Commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson, said that even though a number of gun robberies have been recorded recently, the public should still trust the police in fighting crime and keeping them safe. Basson said that even though the police cannot prevent all crimes from happening, they will do everything to arrest those involved to keep members of the public and their properties safe, and make the country attractive to everyone, especially people who wish to invest in Namibia.
