Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said Namibia needs to strengthen its engagement with international organisations and relevant bilateral partners to ensure development of synergies that will align the country’s strategies for achieving zero hunger and poverty eradication. Presenting the tenth Theo Ben Gurirab Lecture Series under the theme; ‘How can Multilateralism Improve Food Security?, Nandi-Ndaitwah explained that rural development, establishing social protection systems, building rural-urban linkages, and focusing on boosting incomes of critical agents of change is key to achieving inclusive and equitable growth while tackling the root causes of poverty.
