A Namibia Defence Force applicant died yesterday at Eenhana hospital after his physical fitness training, which included a two-kilometer lap. The 24-year-old man died while two others fainted during the NDF physical training on Tuesday at Eenhana. According to the Ohangwena Commander Commissioner Elizabeth Sibolile, the deceased collapsed after completing the test, he was treated on the spot and later taken to the hospital. She added that they only received the shocking news of his death today. The deceased was identified as Efraim Ndeshaanya. The two female trainees are said to be in stable condition. The NDF’s shortlisted candidates are currently busy with their physical fitness training in their respective regions.
