Celebrating the Namibian Defence Force’s 32nd anniversary, Air Marshal Martin Kambulu Pinehas noted that the NDF had grown from the two infantry battalions that existed at its inception in 1990, to three full services comprised of the army, air force, and the navy. Pinehas, the Chief of the NDF, said that, while it was important to to reflect on the Force’s accomplishments, “much more work remains to be done on [their] path to becoming a modernised and fully professionalised world-class force.
