Most businesses in Namibia are facing two main challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic. The New Era newspaper reports that according to a recent survey about 75% of local businesses, the biggest challenge is the cash flow problem while 71% bemoaned lower than normal demand. The figures emanate from the research conducted by the Namibia Employers Federation on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on business in the country. The report says that this means most businesses have not received any assistance in dealing with the economic impact of the pandemic for more than 100 days since the first day of the first lockdown back in March.
