A man who set off a bomb in a New York subway station during rush hour has been sentenced to life in prison. 31-year-old Akayed Ullah detonated the pipe bomb in Times Square Station in December 2017. Al Jazeera reports that no one died; however, four people including Ullah were injured in the explosion, which caused the temporary closure of the station and the adjacent Port Authority Bus Terminal, one of the main transit hubs in Manhattan.
