The non-banking financial institutions sector’s assets increased, both on a quarterly and annual basis, to N$ 331.2 billion during the third quarter of 2020, the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (Namfisa) has indicated in a report on Monday. According to the Namibia Press Agency, Namfisa said the increase in assets is mainly due to improved performance in the equity markets after uncertainties created by the COVID-19 pandemic during the second quarter of 2020.
