The Namibian Stock Exchange has released its NSX Annual Market Stats for 01 January 2021 to 31 December 2021 revealing that Namibian Breweries was the top performing share on the market, increasing in value by 48.8% from a starting price of 33.25 on 31 December 2020 to a closing price of 49.49 at the end of 2021. FirstRand Namibia was the second best share on the market, moving up from a price of 23.04 at the beginning of the year to a closing price of 29.50, while Paratus gained 11.1% during the year, moving up from an opening price of 11.49 to a closing price of 12.77. The three worst performing shares were those of Oryx Properties, Letshego Holdings, and Standard Bank Namibia which decreased by 35.8%, 26.3%, and 11.2% respectively.
