The reported genocide agreement reached between Germany and the Namibian government is a travesty of justice, a mockery of the highest order, and will be rejected with the contempt it deserves from the two affected communities. Nampa reports that these were the words of National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) Secretary-General, Joseph Kauandenge, in a media statement he issued on Wednesday. He said that his office is reliably informed that the Namibian government is about to sign an agreement with the German government on the negotiation of genocide issues, without the involvement of the affected communities. He said this raised critical questions about the genuineness of the exercise and the intended results thereof.
