While pleading with the nation not to rest on its laurels in the fight against COVID-19 as winter beckons, President Hage Geingob today announced that over 400 thousand Namibians (411 106) or 23 percent of the target population of 70 percent to reach herd immunity, have been vaccinated against the virus. The Namibia Press Agency reports that Geingob said preventative measures against the virus are still as relevant as they were when the pandemic hit local shores.
